Our Guarantee
We guarantee our crowns and bridges for a period of 5 years.

In the unlikely event that a crown or bridge constructed by us breaks down in any way under normal conditions of use within the guarantee period, we will restore, repair or change the crown or bridge free of charge.

The guarantee will be reduced or invalidated if:

• Your oral hygiene is neglected
• Our instructions and/or advice are not followed
• You do not attend our practice for check-ups at least once every 12 months
• Gum tissue or teeth bone naturally recedes or reduces
• You lose or gain a substantial amount of weight within a short space of time
• You contract any illness that has unfavourable effects on your mouth, teeth or jaws (e.g. diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, after-condition of excessive x-rays or chemotherapy etc.)
• Damage is caused by accidents, sports or a third party in general
• Damage is caused by extreme stress (e.g. grinding at night, etc.)
• You smoke, abuse drugs (including alcohol) or suffer from malnutrition
• You fail to pay the cost of the treatment in full

The guarantee does not cover the following:

• Allergies and unrelated tooth illnesses (and their consequences), that were not noticeable or present before the procedure
• Damage that has not been brought to our attention in the first instance and/or any damage that was subsequently attempted to be restored by a 3rd party (e.g. dentist, dental technician) without our prior consent
• Temporary crowns or bridges
• The inappropriate selection of colour and shape of dental work by a patient (we always provide the opportunity for a patient to choose but we cannot ultimately take responsibility for the patients choice)
• Root canal therapy performed as part of our dental treatment
• Root canal therapy that may be required as a consequence of our dental treatment
• Any consequential loss financial or otherwise, including, but not limited to, loss of income, during or after treatment or remedial work undertaken by us
  

Your statutory rights are not affected by the above terms.
